Favourite thing about the seaside: How every time you go to the beach the sea has made it different.
Worst thing about the seaside: My Mum and dad used to take me to Weymouth every year when I was a kid - and the sand was always full of fag-ends. I went back a few years ago (for my dad's 80th birthday celebrations) and while everybody was having a lie-in I ran from the hotel down to the beach. It was still full of fag-ends. Yuk!
If I were a pirate my name would be: Samantha-the-Lovely (just to make 'em relax before I jumped on them, tied 'em up and robbed their treasure).
Favourite seaside creature: Star-fish.
Scariest seaside creature: That slimy-monster that lives under the seaweed and grabs your ankles.
If I saw a shark swimming in the sea I would: Get out my waterproof 'How to identify sharks' book, check whether it was a carnivore or not, then decide whether to marvel at it or swim like crazy - unless, of course, it was too late by then.
Tell us a seaside memory: Last year I tried to skim-board for the very first time. And I could do it! (Actually, that's a dirty fib. But I did make the other people on the beach laugh a lot as I flew through the air and landed on my backside. Next year I'll have another go).
