A sea-side memory: It was a very hot day when I was about 3. I was sat on the promenade wall with my dad, my feet dangling over the edge. He’d just bought me an ice cream, but after only 2 or 3 licks I had dropped it on the head of an old bold gentleman below. Then we made a quick escape before he could see where it had come from!
